Crash Landing On You

While paragliding, Yoon Se-Ri played by Son Ye-Jin, enters into the North Korean region, and what follows next is the sweet love story between Jeong-Hyeok (Hyun-Bin), who is a North Korean army officer.

Itaewon Class

The story follows the ex-convict Park Sae-ro-Yi played by Park Seo-Joon. After repenting, Park Sae-ro-Yi finds himself in a world that requires him to survive at any cost. The MC Follows his heart to open the restaurant DanBam (Honey Night) in Itaewon. What follows next is the twist and turns into this new Korean Drama of 2020.

Hospital Playlist

The story revolves around the 5 doctors and nurses at Yulje Medical Center. This one is a hilarious show that you should watch once in a lifetime.

This short 10-episode drama has a lot more to offer than your traditional Korean dramas. The story follows Ji-soo, who runs a secret security service for sex workers. When push comes to shove, Ji-soo turns the world upside down for his business.

Hyena

A cat and mouse play between the top dog lawyers of South Korea. Hyena follows the story of Lawyer Geum Ja (Kim Hye Soo) and Yoon Hee Jae (Ju Ji Hoon) who are against each other to be the number one lawyer for the top 1% of South Korea. The show reminds me of death note but with money involved.

My Unfamiliar Family

A family drama where the middle child Kim Eun-Hee (Han Ye-Ri) finds herself in a new world of relationships. The show highlights the social trauma and alienation from one’s own family. If you are looking to try out something new then I would highly recommend this drama to you.

A Piece of Your Mind

Moon Ha-won is the founder of AH Company. He meets this beautiful lady Ha-won (Jung Hae-In) and what follows is this newly found love story of Moon Ha-won and Ha-won.

The World of the Married

A story of revenge and adulthood. A world of the married follows the story of two individuals cheating on each other. After failing as the ideal partner, Kim Hee-ae, Park Hae-Joon, and Han So-hee take another shot at life to look at things and relationships from a different perspective.

Stove League

A rather interesting entry on our list of the 17 must-watch Korean drama of 2020. Stove league follows the story of General Manager (GM) Baek Seung Soo (Nam Goong Min). Baek Seung Soo along with Operations Manager Lee Se Young (Park Eun Bin) and Han Jae Hee (Jo Byeong Gyu) manages to handles a pro-league baseball team to lead them to the top.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

The story revolves around Moon Gang-tae (Kim Soo-Hyun) a community health worker and Ko Moon-young (Seo Ye-Ji) who is an established children’s book author. The two of them never felt love before so this is the first time romance for both of these professionals.

Hi Bye, Mama!

After dying in a tragic accident, Cha Yu-ri has 49 days to return to her place in order to reincarnate as a human being again. I know, the plot sounds cringe but you have to see it with your own eyes in order to judge this beautiful 15-episode roller coaster ride.

Mystic Pop-up Bar

A rather new and interesting approach to K drama comes from the Mystic Pop-up Bar where the plot includes a slice of life events between living and death. All of this is happening in the night on the rooftop of a building where the Mystic Pop-up Bar exists. Living and death both are regular at the bar for eating and drinking their sorrows away.
